Helen Frances (née Fason) Copley (1935 - 2021) was so inspired by Christy's painting "The Christ" that she spent a decade traveling the USA hunting for his artwork. In 1999, she published the book The Christy Quest that chronicled her journey, with several black & white photos peppered throughout. Lawrence-Martin Capuder was inspired by the 1905 Evangeline book that Christy illustrated. In 2025, he dedicated himself to carrying out Copley's work a few steps further: - The "Books" page describes how Lawrence-Martin has set out the publish the first ever retrospective artbook series of Christy's work. - Building the world's largest high definition collection of Christy's work. Mr. Capuder could say he already has the physical publications to make that happen with his antiquarian book collection of Christy's work and a large quantity of magazines, neither of which has "scanned" with his profession copy stand equipment. - Enrich libraries and museums with his artwork and information. His vintage collection of books is not the only source for the NexGen Christy Quest. Mr. Capuder has already completed a 3,000 mile trek from his home in the Tampa Bay Area to Indiana and Ohio, with many stops along the way.
